Garbajosa’s exam could quiet Spanish Inquisition
The Spanish conspiracy theorists might want to have a conversation with Toronto general manager Bryan Colangelo, who has been scouring North America for someone to treat Garbajosa.

Colangelo was planning to book an appointment for the injured player with Dr. Michael Clark, the head of the National Academy of Sports Medicine and a specialist who helped Phoenix Suns star Amare Stoudamire come back from micro-fracture knee surgery.

But Colangelo’s search for an answer was put on hold nine days ago after something new, and presumably worrisome, appeared in an MRI taken of Garbajosa’s leg.

Later today, the fate of the most-talked-about left limb in Madrid might finally be decided.

“We’ll know more (today),” Colangelo said. “We could know by 4. It could be 4:30 p.m.”
