….I got it from my momma.

Shaquille O’Neal could be traded shortly.  Phoenix has seemingly dangled Shawn Marion and Marcus Banks.

If true, you have to admire Bob Knight’s reason to retire. Seems he wanted to give his now-coach son and the returning players a 10 game head start on next year to get use to each other. I admire that.

This Friday is the one and only time that the Celtics play in Minnesota. Wolves fans are worried that Garnett will not play due to injury and might not even travel with the team, stealing their opportunity to say “thank you” for years of service.

I was enthused to hear John Lucas say he is mulling over offers to return to coaching the other night on the Heat broadcast. I’d love to see him in Toronto alongside Mitchell. Another guy talking about a return: Larry Brown. I’m sure the guys in Chicago are ecstatic.

Remember that article last week about the fiscal responsibility of players in this day and age? Pretty admirable that there are money men going from team to team to educate players. One guy who might just skip it is Travis Outlaw. He’s lived in the same apartment since 2003 and shares it with his brother, girlfriend and two dogs. Oh, and it’s right next to the teams practice facility.

The Gasol trade is still being talked about. Chad Ford lists 10 teams that may have submitted better offers and, yup, the Raptors are mentioned. Basically, would you rather have Gasol or Bargnani/Moon/Dixon/Graham/Delfino?

Bargnani gets the Colangelo as God treatment.

Wanna know the dunk contestants a little better? Here ya go.
